OUR COMMUNITY

I began my long career of public service as a Fairfield Police Officer, eventually rising to the office of Sergeant during my 31 years on the force, before being elected to City Council in 2007.  

 

Over my City Council tenure, I have served the County in a multitude of positions including as an Advisor to the Board of the Leaven, a board member in the Chamber of Commerce, and a Board Member of Solano First Federal Credit Union. I was also a County Representative to the Senior Coalition for Solano County, a City Representative to the Suisun Valley Fund Advisory Committee, and an alternate to the Redevelopment Oversight Committee, Solano County for the city of Fairfield.

 

I have lived in Fairfield since 1971. The son of a military family, I graduated from Vanden H.S (1972) and obtained an A.A degree from Solano College in Criminal Justice, and a B.A. in Human Relations from Golden Gate University.
